Access to certain Crossmint products is subject to compliance review.

Wallets	No KYB required.
Stablecoin Orchestration	Signed Order Form and KYB required.
Onramps	Signed Order Form and KYB required.
Checkout	Signed Order Form and KYB required. Collection whitelisting also required for memecoins and primary NFT sales.
Tokenization	No KYB required.

Reviews are only required in production. Staging does not require an Order Form, KYB, or collection review for any product. Each distinct project you create via the Crossmint Console requires a separate review.

How Production Access Works

For products that require it, production access follows the same sequence:

1. Sign an Order Form

   Work with the Crossmint sales team to sign an Order Form. The Order Form is the commercial agreement and includes the KYB obligation.

2. Complete KYB

   Crossmint’s compliance team runs KYB (Know Your Business) verification as part of onboarding. The review covers entity formation, beneficial ownership, and business purpose.

3. Production Access Opens

   Production is enabled once KYB passes. There is no separate request to make — a successful KYB unlocks the production environment for your account.

Staging is self-serve. You can build and test against staging with only a staging console account — no Order Form, no KYB, and no manual approval.

KYB for Sole Proprietors and Individual Sellers

KYB is designed for registered legal entities. If you do not operate through one (for example, you sell as a sole proprietor or individual entrepreneur), eligibility and the documents you need are confirmed case by case and depend on your jurisdiction. Raise your situation with the sales team before signing the Order Form so the compliance team can tell you what applies to you.
