The Crossmint Onramp is available in most countries worldwide. However, due to regulatory requirements, certain countries and regions are restricted.
Restricted Countries
The following countries are not supported for onramp transactions:
| Region | Restricted Countries |
|---|
| Africa | Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Libya, Mali, Niger, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tunisia, Zimbabwe |
| Asia | Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar, North Korea, Palestine, Syria, Yemen |
| Europe | Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine |
| Americas | Bolivia, Cuba, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela |
This list is subject to change based on evolving regulatory requirements. Crossmint continuously updates its compliance policies to reflect the latest sanctions programs and regulatory guidance.
How Restrictions Work
- IP-based blocking — users connecting from restricted regions will not be able to initiate onramp transactions.
- KYC-based blocking — users whose identity documents indicate residence in a restricted country will be blocked during the KYC verification process.
- Sanctions screening — all users are screened against international sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN) as part of the compliance process.
State-Level Restrictions (United States)
Certain US states may have additional restrictions depending on the payment method and token type. Contact the Crossmint sales team for the latest availability by state.
